Usually one thinks of Yoga as this peaceful, quiet and especially non-athletic activity. Yet there are those who want it to be a competitive event. Bikram Choudhury, originator of the very popular Bikram Yoga, wants yoga to be competitive and even oneday an Olympic sport. Bikram Yoga is to be practiced in a heated room of 105°F with a humidity of 40 percent. Classes include 26 postures and two breathing exercises that run about 90 minutes.

Not getting enough sleep is a common complaint among women. The day may have a groggy beginning, there might be a lag in energy around 3pm, or by 6pm you're dead tired and facing dinner clean up, lunches to pack for the next day, and a load of clothes to fold. There already is not enough time in the day to satisfy all of our to-dos so crashing is not an option. Regaining your day through better sleep at night is the answer. What you need is quality sleep not quantity. Planning your sleep around your bodies natural sleep patterns is the way to get it.
